What we are about:

The Wisconsin Rugby Football Union is seeking select level players to represent Wisconsin  in the Rocky Mountain Challenges in Denver, CO. The Wisconsin Select Side has a proven track record of success on the pitch and as a path to the US U19 & U17 National Teams. This tournament is the premier event in the US and is attended by coaches and selectors from the National Teams.

This effort is designed to incent our talented young ruggers to reach for a higher level, give them exposure to select side play and ultimately improve the skill level that those players bring back to their high school, college and club teams.

2016 Age requirements

To play on the U17 team you must be a freshman or sophomore.  To play on the U19 you must be a junior or senior.  No 8th graders.  The USARugby age guidelines for RASTs (Regional All Star Tournaments) will be used for the 2016 Rocky Mountain Challenge. All players must have a current valid high school identification card to qualify for the 2016 RMC.
